The X-Men movies brought the legendary comic book character Wolverine to a much wider audience, helped in no small part by Wolverine;s real-world counterpart, Australian actor Hugh Jackman. Over the course of the three X-men movies and now X-men Origins: Wolverine, Hugh Jackman's interpretation of the adamantium-clawed Canuck has proven to be a huge hit with fans of the comics and new fans of the movies.
For many people now, Hugh Jackman's movie Wolverine is the definitive version of the character, but there are many others who prefer the original comics incarnation. Either way, with more Wolverine movie son the way as well as a 'Young X-Men' film, there will be a lot for fans of Wolverine's film appearances to get excited about for a long time to come.
